This was a week with very varied weather - some days extremely stormy but others fine. We did get to Gozo, although at one time it was thought the ferries would not sail.

Remember them? some of the MITS students who guided Leeds students around Mdina. It was a blustery day when this was taken and they were sheltering under trees near the city's main gate.

There were also students from Laurea Polytechnic in Helsinki taking part in the residential. This group of them is with their tutor at the social on the last evening, shortly after winning the quiz arranged by the hotel.

Trevor Zahra, then General Manager of the Bugibba Holiday Complex (later he became Marketing Director, Leisure Sales, for the owner, the Island Hotels Group of Malta). Here he takes the group down into the banqueting suite.

... and they ate as much as they could. This was lunch at the day spent at the Malta Institute of Tourism Studies.
